ISES Dallas Members Create Magic in the City of Cowboys & Culture! By Marla Watson-Werst, CSEP

From the Opening Night Soiree to the Fort Worth Block Party to the Farwell Gospel Breakfast, ISES Dallas Chapter members worked together in perfect harmony with the Omni Hotel Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau & the Fort Worth Convention Center to create one of the most amazing weekends that Fort Worth has ever seen. 

The festivities were centered around the Grand Opening of the Omni Fort Worth, which had a soft open in January of this year AND the branding of Fort Worth as the City of Cowboys and Culture. The thought was to team the events together to create an entire weekend of Special Events, Tours and Parties that showcased the new Omni hotel, Fort Worth, and an amazing array of event professionals for over 400 event planners from around the world.

ISES Dallas January Bi-Monthly Education Program

The ISES Dallas Chapter held it's Bi-Monthly Educational Program at Marc Event's in Dallas on Monday. The program was chaired by Erica Hesley of Ultimate Ventures and Ashley Wright of Eclipse Entertainment. The topic of this program was How to Build Your Business by Submitting Awards. A panel of 4 speakers included, Debbie Meyers, CESP, Brian Acheson, CSEP, Steve Kemble & special guest from London, Sally Webb, CSEP. They educated on how and why submitting awards is benenficial to you and your company and how to sucessfully create an award-winning submission. Program sponsors included:

The next BMEP is March 16th and is chaired by Marla Watson-Werst, CSEP of PeaPod Productions and Chris Arredondo of Eclipse Entertainment. The topic is the Fort Worth Venue Experience which will take members through the latest venues throughout Downtown Fort Worth.

Wow! Last night rocked! 

We wanted to send a quick note to everyone to say thank you to everyone for an amazing program last night. The Dome was such a special place last night to be in with great friends, and a stellar program. The lighting was spectacular, the cuisine spot on and all the details flowed like silk. Not only was the event a huge success, it was one of the best ISES programs we have ever done. It really was a labor of love for all involved, and we just wanted to say thank you!

ISES Dallas and the Event Industry in Dallas Fort Worth Helps Raise Funds for Hurricane IKE Relief!

As you know, Our fellow Texans and Event Industry family, have been hit hard by Hurricane IKE, and can use all the help they can get. In fact the Pink PeaPod has tons of family and friends in the Houston area, so it is with that thought in mind, that our good friends at Fauxcades and Outstanding Productions have teamed with G-Texas Catering and Gilley's to provide a fundraiser for the statewide Red Cross Relief Effort.

For a donation of $20, you can attend this amazing soiree, nosh with friends, and feel good about giving to a more than worthy cause. We have built a page on Facebook called Production For Reconstruction. On this site, you can donate Money, Time, Event goods and services or thoughts to your friends down south.
