Back of House, With the Mouse - The Disney Event Experience By Marla Watson-Werst

I am still reeling from our visit to the Happiest Place on Earth – Walt Disney World.

I was blessed to take part in a VIP Back of House tour with the Disney Event Group at Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and finally ending up at the Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. I cannot put words together to describe the amazing and first class service we received. I will blog in detail later, but here is a photo blog for now!

Here is a Photo Blog of our very special day:

The Disney Event Group - You have to be careful, as they do not allow photography in many parts of the building.

The DEG included the Event Imagineers, Decor, Floral, Gifts and Special VIP requests, Costuming for the Events, ect...Each team member gets to design his or her own offices to show off their individual style.

Customized Entertainment for your group, courtesy of LuDean! Disney will take your company and staff information, as well as any important facts, and their cast of characters/actors will become a part of the color and event background.

This is the theme through out the entire park. And boy does it show! Everything the DEG does, is aimed at making Walt Disney proud.

Yvette, Terry and I at Epcot (the last off the bus, and lolly gagging in the rain).
We were having the best time!

Entering the Living Seas VIP Lounge, we were greeted in style. The signage and branding for ISES was represented in EVERY part of the experience.

Mickey donned his scuba gear and welcomed us in style to

This is such a cool photo, and shows off how
humid it really was during Hurricane Faye!

"CUT!" The action is right there! The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular - Opened Up set.
This set can be customized to your guests specifications, and they will become part of the show.

The Food was immaculate and so very delicious.

Disney Executive and ISES International President David DeLoach
receives his 20 year service pin.
We were so proud of him, and felt quite honored to be there for his special day!

I want to thank the entire Disney team, but especially David DeLoach, Disney Executive and ISES International President; and our tour guides Kris Shea, CSEP and Todd Milton for making our trip so amazing.

Also a special thanks to my good friends Leigh, Yvette, Brooks, Terry, Denise and Nick for leaving me with one of the happiest memories I will ever have. They were all laughing, and relaxed for the first time in months. It made me so happy to see them happy.
